Transfer Radar Seen on Marcus Rashford: Barcelona-Dortmund Interested

The future of Rashford with Manchester United is now in doubt, with both Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund interested in a move for him. In fact, representatives from Rashford’s camp have apparently met Deco, Barcelona’s sporting director, to discuss his possible transfer. Barcelona’s search, however, is dependent on clearing some financial fair play hurdles stemming from the requisite shipments of Eric Garcia and Ansu Fati to their teams.
Borussia Dortmund have also started engaging with Rashford, discussing his loan transfer directly with Manchester United, although there are considerations concerning transfer fees onward of between €8 and €10 million required for the six-month loan. One of the other permanent concerns would be the potential positional overlap with the existing players at Borussia Dortmund, which may further complicate the potentiality for the transfer.
Despite interest from these clubs, sources close to Rashford suggest he may stay at Manchester United until the end of the season, when he can better weigh his options in the summer, which would inform a clearer outlook on where his future lies.
