The Federal Republic of Somalia sent medical supplies to Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland, and other key cities in integrated Somalia. It comprises emergency medical vehicles, Important healthcare equipment, which will be distributed at the psychiatric hospital in Garoowe, Kismayo, Baydhabo, Jowhar, and Cadaado.
Dr. Ali Haji Adam, Somalia’s Minister of Health, received the supplies on February 18, 2025, with support from the World Health Organization. The medical supplies will support the hospitals of Demartino and Banaadir, approximate facilities in Hargeisa, Kismayo, Cadaado, and Baydhabo.
Dr. Adam remarked that these supplies were going to boost greatly because they would enable the citizens to have access to health care services in the country at large, thus assuring the government’s commitment to good health for all, especially in the remotest places.
